Here is what I have been working on. (I will attempt to reply when I can, I have family down and I can't use my PC and I have subscribed. Use the E-Mail form. And I will put these as posts. If you wish. WAIT UNTIL 25TH DEC, I WILL HAVE MY TABLET. THEREFORE, I CAN GET BACK TO YOU ASAP.)

(My screenshots are in BURNINGS VIDEO. I CANNOT RUN OPENGL FOR SOME ODD REASON.)

If they seem odd, test them yourself.

These are (slightly) derived from Cisoun's pack, (well, only a few as I cannot be bothered to do some, and the fact I made MESE into a diamond and that's about it.)

Textures Used:

Gems from the Gems Mod. (Re-colored)

Rat, rails and fence. (Icons, made by Cisoun.)

BTW, Tell me if you find errors. (E.G. Tools not being 3-d, blah blah.)

R.I.P. 8-BIT. 1982-1994. You shall be missed.

I will soon update this for Mesecons and the new texture system.

(By demand from other users.)

No offense, but it looks more like drawn in paint and jpeg compressed then 8-bit.

8-Bit means less colours, not less size of textures ;)

there is one thing i would like to say. Some were done with gimp, but i lack skill. And i had my girlfriend round. I had to do it quick. Btw, yes i used paint, and i do not know what these look like on 0.4.

I made these without what u said bwog.

Just remember. These were to honour 8 bit, not kill. One more thing, old games were done in paint.

Posted from my Android device.

This is 8-bit:

(Technically it's just that the NES uses an 8-bit processor, but real 8-bit is 256 colors which is about as good as the default Minetest graphics)

I like the way some blocks are showing though, in your inventory.

@ironzorg this is done by Burnings Video. OpenGL and DX9 don't work for me.
