Nice...
I have to admit, minecraft textures are much better than that of default minetest.
I love exploring minetest worlds :D
If you have a good seed let me know

Jordath, what program do you use to create your textures? it would be really helpful.

I use GIMP 2.6.12 on Windows XP Home Edition SP3.

In a nutshell: I hate the new export feature, and save as should work like save as should do in paint: save it as another file type, not some bullshit motherfuckery by using export.

P.S. GIMP Devs, stop tomfooling around, sort your bullshit motherfuckery out and make it so save as becomes export. Jeez. And make it the same keyboard shortcut while we are here. Otherwise I will switch to Photoshop. Because save as is save as, not some more bullshit tomfoolery motherfuckery.

+1 regarding getting rid of that STUPID export vs. save-as behavior. I hate it.

Here's some more asshurtery and the design doc for that GIMP behavior. Looks like it isn't going to be changed back.

http://www.gimpusers.com/forums/gimp-user/14339-hate-the-new-save-vs-export-behavior
http://gui.gimp.org/index.php/Save_%2B_export_specification

I'm relatively neutral about that, because there are more serious problems in 2.8, like horrible behavior on multiple virtual desktops. Try and see what happens if you open gimp on your second virtual desktop, open some dialog and switch around doing stuff on other virtual desktops. Chances are you have just lost the dialog to some completely random place.

Well, I'm a singular monitor man, so that counts me out.

If this continues, they are going to do what GNOME 3 did to GNOME 2.

Maybe that's what happens randomly to my sidebars. Occasionally they will simply disappear. I attributed that more to the fact that I was using a tiling wm, but I was also using multiple monitors.

Personally, although the new export behavior is a little bit more work, I've gotten used to it, and I think it really makes more sense. You're editing and saving a special image with multiple layers and fancy thing like masks; a simple one-layer image like .png or .jpg is really a different kind of file.

What would remedy the problem is if the export dialog could also save to XCF.

Then all one need do is point shift-ctrl-S back to "Export".. But noooooo it just HAS to be a different function. Like some others, I find it irritating to have two separate ways to save a file.

I'd like it if export worked like save, and didn't ask to overwrite the file and information each time. It's annoying to have to click through 3 dialogs every time I save.

Later I will probably work on the Minecraft_Game, however it will come without the textures.

And also: a textures/all/ folder for the textures, so its for all game modes!!

Hey this pack is really nice, love it.
I was wondering if it comes with its own redstone styled blocks or if I have to use mesecons atm.

Mesecons will get some changes, however I will probably leave them as they are due to the amount of detail.

Finally, it has returned!

Download V7:

http://ompldr.org/vaTUyNw/MC4MT7.zip

Older downloads have been deleted, sorry.

EDIT: Forgot about desert sand.

EDIT2: Quite a few things have been forgotten. Blame me for being pushed on time!

EDIT3: The above bugs have been fixed! Except I failed to add character.png, but that can wait.

EDIT4: More bugs fixed that I clearly missed. Download link updated.
