Older classic versions please?

by McBean56545 » Sun Jul 24, 2016 23:15

One thing I like to do is to delve into the many beta and alpha versions of video games. I have installed many old versions of games from beta to alpha to pre-alpha. But getting older versions of Minetest can be more difficult than trying to solve the square route of 9317496936491673627916 while bouncing on a pogo-stick and eating hot peppers all at once. I have seen some interesting videos of extremely old versions of Minetest and I can't seem to find them on the internet no matter where I search. Is there any place or any way I can get my hands on all of the versions of Minetest ever released?

The Github releases have every version, to my knowledge.

Celeron55 used to have a directory of all old Win32 builds here (link down)
But investing two minutes into Google gave me this link: http://c55.me/minetest2/download.php

EDIT: celeron55 uploaded the megapack here: minetest releases 2010 - 2012 (List of contents)

Also, here are all source backups before the initial git commit: http://packages.8dromeda.net/minetest/m ... s_2010.zip

Sloccount reports 1564 lines of code for the first one.
