Nodebox in-game assembler, possible ?

by jp » Sun Feb 08, 2015 09:23

Just a vague brief idea...

A formspec is displayed, with 3 fields per row (x, y, z) which set the nodebox dimensions. After confirmation, the nodebox(es) is (are) "dynamically" inserted in a node def.

It would require many, many formspec updates.

You could use entities to simulate them.

There is a mod like this.

However you won't be able to graphically drag it into shape without an engine modification.
