Mobs and subgames

Hello everyone,

I've been playing the game for some time now, off and on. Mostly Carbone and Voxelgarden (both great, btw). I've tried branching out to other subgames, but I can't really find one that fits. I really enjoy the variety of blocks and crafting in those games, but there doesn't seem to be a game on par that has a great interesting variety of mobs.

I understand that this game is not meant to be a clone of some other game I'm only going to refer to here, but I feel that mobs would add a great depth to the game. Is there something that makes this difficult? I'm not familiar with LUA, but I'm willing to take a crack at it if I can help build out something stable.

Mobs Redo adds peaceful and harmful mobs to default and Ethereal.
for deadly challenging mobs, try Not So Simple Mobs.

those mods may not work with subgames because of different node definitions, but that can be adjusted ;)

Legend of Minetest, Lord of the Test, and Voxellar have mobs, have you tried those?
I'm not promising anything, but I have been considering making a post-apocalyptic game centered around fighting mobs.

Aah sorry I'm a bit busy lately.
I've started another subgame project with toby109tt.
But you could probably help with that if you like(you'd have to ask Toby)
