One little suggestion: can you add small leaves to the top of the apple?

This should be in the default game, but there should be a leaf and only one stem

Edit: I got it so it should work, but it looks all weird like in my toilet paper roll mod... I will not post any screenshots or give any more details, so you don't ruin it too

It isn't (just a different nodebox/texture), but your mod did not exist when this one was made.
