Main Menu Sound Control

by Napiophelios » Tue Nov 11, 2014 12:16

Is it possible to control the sound volume of the main menu music (if you are using any)?

The in-game sound controls dont seem to affect it
and the game wont even start if I try to add parameters to :
core.sound_play("main_menu", true) from the \builtin\mainmenu\init.lua

Is this something thats just off limits?

I dont think its possible. All you can really do is edit the sound files themselves to the desired gain level.

You can use the core namespace in a mod, however it is not the same as the mainmenu core.

You can see this line in builtin:
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
minetest = core
