animated water

i know what you all are going to say!
"BUT THAT WILL SLOW DOWN THE GAME BLAH BLAH BLAH"
so what? before you make it for slower computers..make the animation work! i know that will work because that is how the digging animation works...then when it is all working and what not..
THEN
make the choice available to turn it off!
same with lava!
If you can think it, you can make it.

Try to mine blocks, switching blocks to mine very often (you won't successfully mine any block - but you will draw a lot of breaking animations) - It will reduce FPS a lot. That will be even worse with water or lava.

there needs to be an animation cache then! what if it takes the same animation..but distributes it to all water? like it loads the animation once ..and repeats it at the same time so it appears that all the water blocks are moving individually??
