I have an idea for a modpack inspired by Ultima (mainly Ultima III).
Depends on: Animals, Money, & Flowers mod.
When you kill a monster mob, it drops a chest. When you try to open the chest. 60% of the time it stays locked. 20% of the time it opens and gives you money or a random item, 20% of the time it poisons you (as time goes by you continue to lose hit points until cured). You get cured by finding 1 kind of flower, like the violet and crafting a cure potion and drinking/left clicking it while in your hand. Also vombies should be modified to poisoning you if they hit you. Any other ideas on an RPG modpack?

This could grow into a an RPG mod with character classes. Thieves are really good at opening chests, they open more frequently, and are less likely to poison them. Clerics can cast cure spells that cure poisoned characters and heal spells that heal their hit points, and curse spells that damage mobs. Wizards can do the same but can cast fireball spells.

Sounds good to me, always thought this and minecraft needed RPG elements
