A really simple question really: Is there Coal available in Minetest ?

Yes. The stone with black dots/stripes in it. Just look for it (to start with) in 'surface' caves or caves that are half in the water.

Thx man. Now I just need to find it :-) Cause if else things tend to become really dark during nighttime :-)

Check out the Minetest Wiki. The blocks article has a list of block types available in the default unmodified game, complete with images. Note that the list may not be complete at this point because a lot of changes have been being made recently, but it is definitely enough to learn "Minetest basics."
