DirectX 12 Support and HoloLens Support

Hey everyone,

You may have heard about Microsoft's plans for augmented reality glasses called hololens.

That said are there plans for Windows 10 Support as Hololens will only run on Windows 10 and DX12.

Does anyone want to see this integrated into minetest?

I would be willing to help out on the Art side of a sub game to make it stand out.

I known someone, might create a topic, about this.
Anyway, Minetest main engine I think don't support Microsoft Hololens just yet. But do have something should try impact onto Minetest.

But if can get this work will be awesome. since it will be actually you there and all. Like walking around the world and such.

Anyway, I +1 this idea should be looked into.

So I completely forgot about this but there is another product similar to Microsoft Hololens called CastAR. It might be a good alternative if we cannot get our hands on hololens any time soon. :)

They have already had a very successful Kickstarter.

You can currently pre-order the device at their website.

That said - There is no release date at the moment.

They have started to give out SDK access to kickstarter backers :D

The rendering engine is Irrlicht's responsibility and not ours.
