FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

while I download a map of "The Secret of Los Angeles" of Selfishcar and when I finish installing it, the default folder I get another folder called "sound" but not where to put it, help me?

As far as I know, there is no sound-pack folder.
games\minetest_game\mods\default\sounds can be used for sounds (is different for different mods)
(works but it is a bit ugly)
