How about mangrove trees instead?

Here is the mangrove biome from my Australia MOD and soon to be launched 'Outback' subgame.

The roots for the mangrove trees will look better when water can "flow through" node boxes.

Bas080 has created a mod a while ago that adds nice mangrove trees as well. The screenshots seem to be missing, but the trees themshelves are very nice.
