when shall make Direct 3D video card in version 20120408?

I am also wondering this, celeron told me to change the video driver in the mintest conf to direct3d9 but with no changes

Celeron is right you need to find on Your directory folder C:/games/Minetest
Or any directory of your game

manually find A file That its extension is called CONF

then change OPNEGL to Direct3d9

Then it will work like MINTEST 0.3

Less laggy After that :

Right Click the Game and Check the box that tells Run this File For < or something like that and select windows 95
Then Check the Boxes of
Run on 256 Colors<
Disable Visual Themes<
Disable Desktop Composition<
Disable Display Scaling on High DPI settings<

Then Go to Task manager every time you run the game
RightClick the game on Process tab and set Priority to High
Note : Dont Try to Select Realtime Coz it will make the game Funny

This should help the game to run faster and less laggier

Also if you want Download GameBooster3.5 and Run it on the game

Direct3d doesnt work well with the newest dev. I reccomend not using it unless you like restarting the game every few minutes.

if minetest wants to be totally free software, shouldn't use proprietary drivers like DirectX

Irrlicht comes with Direct 3D as standard, it's just their implementation of it don't work properly for Minetest.
