FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

There are a lot of items on minetest that are in need of craftablitys (not a real word, but go with it).

Jungle Tree: I don't see why you can't craft anything out of jungle wood. It should be able to be crafted just like the regular tree.

Jungle Grass: Other than a lawn decorative, not much to craft out of. So I say maybe a straw mat or rope.

Leaves:At first it was not much to bother with, until the sapling was introduced. Now I've chipped away a lot of leaves and have no idea what crafting idea that could be done with them other than compost.

Cactus: erm... medicine? to restore your health slowly. i dunno.

I just wanted to get these out, mostly the jungle tree. At some point they will be set up for crafting, but I figured we discussing them now.

A guy called mirko1 is working on ropes, although I don't know how his crafting recipes look like.

Or something to make you jump higher / bounce so you don't take fall damage.

You make it from wood and papyrus.

Ammo is the thorns gathered from cacti

leaves and jungle wood are good for burning if you have a large amount of them

Opuntia are medicine too, nice find.
I forgot rubber can be made from jungle wood.

Like some kind of shoes? That could be neat. Another idea for shoes could be used as traction, so you don't have to hold Shift on the edges of block. You can still fall, but it'll allow you to walk out just a little further so you can place block easily.
