Do I have to download a new version or something? My mese is still the same.

The change was made after the 0.4.4 stable release. So you need the current development version.
For Linux, just comile it yourself.
For windows, use one of the unofficial dev builds (you can find them in General Discussion).

If you're in an existing world, you need to visit area where it hasn't been generated.

Thanks jojoa but could someone telll me what i have to do ? I downloaded it uzipped it and now I'm confused do I have to put it in the mods folder? I'm so clueless about computer stuff ... grrr

Tried that it says there is an error

switch meaning delete the old one and copy in the new ?...

You cant use the new version of minetest_game with an old version of the Minetest engine.
