by JustinASF » Tue Sep 10, 2013 09:13

You should add a Context menu.

For sprinting "Alt" should be used instead of the shitty double-w in minecraft.

Just set alt as your sprint key then. :P

No having an adoption for each would be nice. Pressing ww let's you sprint quickly when needed while alt would be for longer sprints.
Coding;
1X coding
3X debugging
12X tweaking to be just right

Thats redundant, just let go of the alt key.

in 4.7's new snapshot they renewed the menu you could change the button of the sprint
but the double w will still work

what about adding sprinting, without granting any privs?
Because fasting is a little bit too fast in survival and no fasting is too slow..

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
#movement_speed_walk = 4
#movement_speed_crouch = 1.35
#movement_speed_fast = 20 # <---- This one is what you're looking for; change it to something like 6
#movement_speed_climb = 2
#movement_speed_jump = 6.5
#movement_speed_descend = 6

Source: minetest.conf.example

Apart from this, a way to craft faster would be great.
Shift+Click or just a button below the craftpreview.

I made a few (a lot of?) mods for minetest: here is a list.
See also the MT-Faithful texture pack (work in progress).

Fasting in creative should stay the way it is, and fasting in survival should be slower. Is there any way of changing those values in lua?

For faster crafting, click using the mouse wheel and it will be like clicking with the left mouse button 10 times. That is the only shortcut I have heard of and I only found that out last month and I have been playing since April or May.
