This chat offers same functionality and works in any browser with javascript. Can be also integrated with minetest forums, so one login for both (same database).

What do you think about adding such chat to the forums?

I dont like this idea. Its not like its hard to get on IRC.

Anyways, this would be good somewhere in a help section, where the applet could be embed into a page, although some form of moderation would be needed.
