I decided to give Minecraft another try recently, im using the TeamExtreme cracked launcher for minecraft 1.6.4, though i still love playing minetest (of course) So i was playing around with MC and a thing i like about it is double chests, this is were you put 1 chest beside another chest and it becomes a double chest. It would be good if Minetest could have this as many people come back from caves with many resources, only to find out that they have not got enough chest space. Another thing which could also be good is a quad chest this is 4 chests in put together to make a really big chest. Anybody like these ideas?

Minitest contains double chests.

Overcraft Origins also has double chests.

Home decor mod (for Minetest) has a refrigerator with 50 slots, though it stands vertically. Extending that to 64 slots (==two chests) is trivial.

no as in you place on chest and you get 32 slots. Place two next to each other and the morph together giving 62 slots.

A chest that behaves similar to Minecraft could most likely be created. The animation would be the real problem; having a nodebox-like chest in opened position would be some work. But is it really worth it? If you want chests with larger inventory, the golden chests from technic are very useful and have a nice texture as well.

That's because there is no code in the fridge to actually "cool" things down :P
