Allowing to increase or decrease its appearence in game.

Bounding box needs to be changed accordingly.

Viewpoint too (the camera render position) to match the current player size.

It is possible to change the size of a player's collision box but the only way to increase/decrease the player size is by replacing the player model.
Adjusting the camera viewpoint would be a very nice feature that I would also like to see included.

Not very helpful because if you decrease the scale this way the player floats above the ground, increase the scale and the
player's feet are stuck in the ground. We'd need something like a base level that can be adjusted to compensate.

Hm? Of course this solves only the first part of his problem.

How about just adding a second model? character_small.x and if(potion, etc) is used then use character_small.x else use character.x. something along those lines. /me is not a coder, just an idea guy. lol.

And why not a mushroom instead of a potion. Oh, wait...

actually that's not a bad idea the spores from the mushroom could make the player "think the shrunk or got bigger" giving a random berserker effect or making them weaker :3 that'd be a nice hazard
