help owner of MOBF!!

by Purrune » Wed Aug 07, 2013 17:58

in ver. 4.4 i triggerd a realy creepy glich causing me to almost fall out of my seat. i was playing in creative, i was bored so i spawned about 10 d.m. about 10 blocks away. i also placed a NPC trader in front of me.i selected the trader while holding the d.m. spawner, making a error. so i went back to the menu and for some reason i could still here fire from the d.m. When i went back on, it started playing a bunch of random noises, and 2-6 mobs from simple mobs pack randomly spawned on me.i was flying while doing this, i triggerd the problem 2 times,so yes,i can trigger it over and over. PLEASE HELP!!!

I saw you later posted the question under the correct thread, that's good. In this case you actually have 2 mods acting up.

I think the noises when closing the gaming and perhaps also when starting the game are lag of your computer, caused by the big amount of DM, probably shooting fireballs at you. I sometimes had sounds while closing and starting up (a server) game (blinky plants and bobblocks). But maybe someone has a better explanation.

Iirc, the spawning of simplemobs on top of you was in some posts a few months ago. Since then I didn't see any post about it anymore. I guess it's caused by using version 0.4.4 and the corresponding simplemods version. You could consider using a more recent minetest build and a more recent version of simplemobs working with such a build.

Edit: post --> posts
