Help, Minetest Error Message

Help, Minetest Error Message

Whenever I log in as TheUniversalBuilder (my account), and I visit a server (mainly The Landrush server), it loads, and when im in the server, an error message pops up and stops the whole process.

The Error message is "Minetest.exe is not working"

But when I log in with a guest, it works.

Please help

I don't want make another account and regain the stuff I had, that'll take forever to get back

If I posted this forum topic in the wrong place or did something wrong, please forgive me. This is my first post.

Can you try using one of the git Minetest builds?

I'm not sure what do you mean.

where should we start to look for exactly? We roughly know were it occurs, but can't find the correct location. How can we find the node that affects the clients like this?

Are you familiar with compiling?
If yes then simply apply this patch and the nodes that cause the crash will show up as unknown nodes:

Where in the minetest folder do I place the compressed no drown folder?

PilzAdam,
thanks for the patch. The user which has set this node already found and removed it before he applied the patch. However, its fixed now and some users already started to update their minetest in order to prevend future crashes.
Interesting about new things is, to figure out how it works ...
