[problem] PilzAdam's mods don't work on my game

by BRICK » Tue Jan 21, 2014 01:43

This is my first post on this forum, so I apologize if I did something wrong.

PilzAdam's mods sound pretty awesome. However, I have not been able to get any of his mods to work! I receive an error saying "failed to load and run [mod name here]. I have renamed the folder to match the name of the mod, but they still do not load.
Additional information:
-the folders are unzipped
-I have tried to rename the folder to match the name of the mod
-I am running Minetest 4.8 and 4.9 (I have both)
-None (and I mean none) of PilzAdam's mods will load or run in my game
-if necessary, I can post the entire error message from the DeBug folder.

Thanks for any help! PilzAdam's mods are remarkable creative and useful, and I'd love to get them to work.

Have you tried activating the mods via the configuration button for each world ?

rename the folder of the mod you have installed.
mod "simple mobs" should be renamed to "mobs"

I have tried that with some of pilzadam's mods, and they still will not work.
Although, I might double-check myself just to be sure I did it right.

That would help helping you. You'll only need to copy/paste the ERROR lines.
