Tree problems

by KillerAussie » Tue Oct 28, 2014 17:34

When I was chopping away at trees I noticed that the saplings were not automatically going into my inventory but when I hit them they would then go into my inventory. When I was chopping away I also noticed that the leaves blocks of the trees were actually being picked up and I could place a block of leaves on the ground.

Leaves have something called "leaf decay", that's the reason they disappear when chopping away a tree or placing them on the ground. Sometimes leaves drop saplings to the ground when they decay. Unlike Minecraft, items are not picked up automatically when walking near them, you pick up items by punching. Try Calinou's Item Drop Mod if you want that feature.
