How to make digging times faster

I wanna make digging times faster. Any cool tips are appreciated.

Oh. So if I set it to, say 1, it would be a painfully long digging time?

cracky=1 it takes 4sec to dig

Its in minetest_game/mods/default/tools.lua

But you are better off making a mod that makes new tools
Many of my mods are now a part of Minetest-mods. A place where you know they are maintained!

If you want to make the tool last longer just increase the uses
Many of my mods are now a part of Minetest-mods. A place where you know they are maintained!

Minerz - It took me a little while to understand how tools worked. It is confusing when you do not know much about lua or minetest modding. Does not mean you are retarded. Just means that you have more to learn. Keep trying and it will get better. It wasn't too long ago when I struggled with things like this. Now I am learning some of the more advanced things.

Keep asking questions and don't worry if you think they are dumb questions. That is how you learn. You have a lot of ambition and I would like to see you learn lots about modding. Keep trying to learn. We will try to help you.

ahh lighten up you cant learn anything if your already know everything

looks like you increased the full_punch_intervals
making your tools faster in use but nothing more
Basically I think this means you can swing your tools faster,
but you havent increased any actual dig times (groupcaps)

for each tool you will have to increase/decrease the times in the groupcaps:

groupcaps={
choppy={times={[1]=2.50, [2]=1.40, [3]=1.00}, uses=20, maxlevel=2},

I'm also just posting this. The reason for this is that my .conf and other things are very mixed up, since I use notebook to access them. When I post my .conf or something like it, it gets all sorted out.
Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
