WHAT?! THIS IS CRAZY! NO TEXT!
i just downloaded minetest today and i was looking forward to play it since i played minecraft and liked it. anyways when i open the game, THERE IS NO TEXT ON EVERY BUTTON! so i couldnt tell what each button does. i tried downloading and redownloading but it still doesnt work! wat the heck HELP PLZ

just some extra info i figure my way out through how to make a new world unfortunately i cant find out how to play multiplayer you can give me some screenshots of the menu and i can figure out the rest

What download did you try?

i used the stable download the game works fey do thats itine but theres no text on buttons so i dont know wat they do thats all

Hmm, weird. I would post a screenie of the menu, but I have no image sharing system ATM.
I know what the buttons do, I could tell you. But I'm not at my computer right now I can't remember how to connect to multiplayer.

I lost interest in Minetest for a couple of years and... I am still not really paying much attention. I rarely browse these forums anymore but it's nice to see old faces.

There should be 4 tabs at the top, first is single player, second is multi, 3rd is advanced, 4th is settings, click on the second tab, click a server you want to join from the list, (can you see that text?) then int the two boxes, type in the top username and bottom password. If you cant see the text for servers, just find out what server you want to join, (I like Landrush and Rancons Skyblock) find the ip for the server, type it in the box next to the butto. At the bottom, then click the button. (connect) that is how you start a multiplayer game.

I too am having issues seeing text, but this only applies to creative_inventory, unified_inventory, mod_menu, and travelnet_menu. This issue began with the lua_menu, so it must not be completely stable yet, which must be why sfan5 and PilzAdam haven't been making too many builds lately. Indeed, things are slow in high summer.
