1) I'm not really sure this is a bug/glitch but the behavior is really wired
First do a tower like this one

Then go in the corner and hold jump + sneak. Is it "normal" to travel at ~11nodes/sec ?

2) If you are on the edge of a node (without sneaking) you can't jump.


3) Same as 2) you can't jump in this configuration


4) When you are falling and then press sneak to land on the edge of a node you don't take damages (easy to test with the tower)

1) A nice sneak glitch.. lovely.

2) Ever tried to jump on the edge of a cliff?

Really, you are reporting this ''glitches'' or ''bugs''?
Please don't report the stuff that almost everybody nows.

Oh, and the ''1)'', it's a elevator, used in a lot of places and servers.

Hmmm. More like everyone knows about but nobody talks about. xD It is no wonder why the first poster created this thread.

About the sneak glitch:
The bug has been “fixed” by allowing to disable it.

I created a mod which disables the sneak glitch. Get it here.

Oh, and the ''1)'', it's a elevator, used in a lot of places and servers.

Still it feels like a bug. Abusing the sneak glitch feels like cheating. I don’t care how many people like it. I hate it! That’s why I created the mod. Feel free to ignore my mod if you disagree. :P

Hmm, maybe (!) I should create a wiki page about the sneak glitch and other stuff supposedly “everyone” knows.


No. 4) sounds like a real problem. Is it reported on the bug tracker?

Maybe nobody talks about this glitches because in the deep of our hearts we love them.

yeah, i love the elevator glitch, i use it in my bases quite a bit!
