Dungeon Master Problem with animal mod 1.0.0

Hello, I hope it is okay if I open up a new topic for this.

I am using 0.4.dev-20120122-1, which seems to be the latest version and the latest version of the animal mod 1.0.0 (found here).

In my world I have discovered a dungeon close to my spawn point with around 15 dm's but I can't kill them. I used an iron sword and hit several of them at least 10 times (the hits were indicated by the dm's turning red) and they didn't die.

Now I would like to know if I made some mistakes when I copied my old world from 0.3.1 or if there was a change made to the dm's which is not documented in the wiki?

I think that only mese pickaxes work against DMs in the latest version. It's a known bug.

The bow from the throwing mod kills DMs with one hit.

if you want them to just go away cause there in the way just type in the chat /clearobjects warning it will delete any rats or orekieis but if your just wondering about the bug the bow mod works too for now

it depends on what dm's they are, normal dm's need the mese sword aninals mod dm's (the ones with non glowing fireballs) can be killed via throwing or at least 30 hits.

As you tell there are at 15 of them there can't be many animal mod dm's as those concentrations are avoided in animals mod.

/Clear object is as good as it gets right now unfortunently, I had the same problem, a group of about 10 dm started attacking my house from my basement and destroyed everything. I suggjest starting a new map and looking under the ground or start building on a mountain or cliff.

That's a bug in 0.4
