Minetest Crashes on Asus ME301T Tablet

Hi all,

Let me first say I love playing Minetest and I'm here to help!

I installed the android apk on my 301T tablet running stock 4.2.1 rom and it runs fine on the default world, but as soon as I try anything "fancy" like big freakin dig, or a combo of mods like moreores+creatures+farmingplus+homedecor it will run for a while, slowly, and then *pop* it just exits back to the home screen and you're done.

It's an nvidia tegra chipset so I'm running the ARM version.

I even tried installing omnirom running kitkat 4.4.4 and re-installing the apk, and I still get basically the same result. Running the OpenGL ES2 driver on kitkat seems to help a little, but it croaks the same after a few minutes or so of play.

I'm happy to "volunteer" my tablet for testing/guinea pig duty if any devs want to help resolve this. Or if you just tell me "hey your tablet is a piece of crap, stick to the basic world" than I can accept that too, although I won't like it :)

Is there a box with text that shows up when Minetest goes back to the main screen?
It would be very helpful if you copied that information here on the forum.

I don't think there is. When I say it "pops" back to the main screen, I mean the home screen of the tablet. MT just completely crashes with no warning or output - just....gone!

I'll try it again when I have a chance and see if I can find something to post.

How much ram/memory do you have? Android closes apps if they take up too much.
