Possibly Mesecons/Areas MOD ERROR

by DARGON » Sun Aug 16, 2015 02:53

I get this when I come into an area where an unknown ERROR in my world takes place. I am not sure what causes the initial error, but it only happens so far in relation to the mesecons mods and near an area protected with the Area Protect mod. Once the error takes place I can not approach the area in the game without the error crashing the server again. Until now my only fix has been getting close to the area without crashing and using world edit to completely set the area and around it to "air". as you probably guessed this is getting very tedious to have to repair the area afterwards.

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

What exact version of Minetest are you using, 0.4.12 stable or dev? if dev at which commit?

DARGON, if you are seeing any more areas with that problem, PLEASE save a copy of your map before overwriting it with air!

@hmmmm well after "fixing" the area this time I found that the error was still happening in the area. Only realised when a player respawned in the same area afterwards. I will download and post the map where it can be accessed in a short time.

Thank you.

Can you give me a list of mods you had running at the time?

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this issue?

Is it still happening with minetest 0.4.14 ? I *think* this was an error when falling nodes would fall onto unknown blocks, but it has since been fixed.
