New Build Error

I keep posting about me not being able to dig, mine ect.
I want to know how to fix this if any body found out how to do this.
Please tell me.

its sounds like your trying to install mods to it before playing, mods are not compatible with new digging system so nodes become "undiggable"

I don't want to install mods right now. and lkjoel I can. And do I need to disable the mods that come with this build?

this s what you need to do delete the copy you have, re extract, if you dont delete first whatevers causing the problem wont be fixed because its not getting replaced. then change your conf file.

Death Dealer, thank you, I think you cannot add texture packs yet or the Minecraft 4 Minetest texture pack by Jordach.

You can install packs. I did mine. You just have to mess around with the LUA files.

Put the texture pack somewhere.
Edit minetest.conf and put the path to the texture pack
Start the game
http://c55.me/minetest/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=15281#p15281Tested under the latest build in Windows and it should be the same under Linux. Knowing the path is the key.
