capital letters bug
I am using minetest 4.13 and i cannot write in small letters.I have tried using shift or hitting the caps lock multiple times.Its very annoying as i have to copy and paste commands int the chat also in servers i cannot use capital letters in servers.I have two computers on both i have minetest i experience this problem in both computes.
if anyone knows how to fix it please help.

What is your operating system? (both computer)
What mods are you using?
Is this also happening on other apps?

on one computer its win 7 and on other[laptop] win 8.1
general mods mesecons,moreblocks,cyro.etc .tried it without any mods but still same problem.
other apps are working fine no such problem.
it also tried re installing minetest also still same problem.

I have seen a couple people now claim that minetest is causing them to type in all caps...I want to to know what exact version they are using, and where did they get it? Starting to suspect a hacked version possibly.

I had players on my old server say they could only type in capital letters. They were using one of the Android games. It was one that was not released by the minetest team. I can't remember what it was called.

Was it multictaft?
I guess there are many hacked builds out now, even enabling fly and noclip. I see a few on my server.

I think it was build craft but I could be wrong.
Go to the Google play store and search craft games. There are tons of them.

Players should only use Minetest not other "fork" if they want to get the real Minetest.

Actually, can that game (BuildCraft or MultiCraft or other fork) connect to Minetest servers?

Players were telling me the names of the apps they used on tablets and phones. There were many different ones.
I can not verify this but it seemed that certain apps were the ones that kept timing out. When I told them to get the official app they seemed to have better game play. A few didn't like the controls but most were pleased. This was just after the app was put on the Google play store.
