[Irrlicht Error][Linux] Sieze up due to player animation

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.
Code: Select all
2015-11-20 07:33:58: ACTION[main]: Irrlicht: Unknown data object in animation of .x file: AnimTicksPerSecond

That sums it about up. I experience freezing of X, (but not to the point of hard crashing...) I can switch out of X (tty1 generally), kill minetest, and switch back to x, and everything is fine. I looked at my terminal during the freeze, and I got this error. Also, X isn't completely frozen, but is very very very very very very laggy and is completely unusuable.

Oh, and I am using AMD's fglrx (15.9 I think) drivers and irrlicht 1.8.1 right now, if that helps.

That error message is about an .x file, not about the X11 window system. Your X window system should not freeze because of that error.

AFIAK there are no directx models (.x) files used in the current version. Are you referring to a particular mod?
