How to reduce network delay for protected blocks on server?

How to reduce network delay for protected blocks on server side (by change config or anower way)? Because many players can go through protected walls (it is very bad for pvp server).
VDS hosting with Xeon 2 x 2.8 GHz, 2Gb RAM, 100 Mbit/s.

I have this problem too, and AFAIK there's no simple solution to it, other than putting walls 4-5 nodes thick.
Even then, on Ethic Rush (great server, it went down, coming back soon) I have gotten to admin protected areas via lag glitching.
Never paint white stripes on roads near Zebra crossings.

This mod might help, it teleports players who dig protected nodes back to where they started digging.

Other solution is to alternate tough blocks breakable with different tools. For example : obsidian (dig with pickaxe) above a cactus block (dig with axe). This makes it very difficult to go through as during a lag you have to dig obsidian, change tool and dig cactus.
You can also have two tough walls and lava between.

You could also spawn a big object which is walkable but not pointable.

I've added two new features to the Protector Redo mod where players who try to glitch through walls using lag automatically drop their tools, and also a setting to hurt players digging in protected areas.
