guys, i have a .dll folder in minetest. which program should i use to modify it?

*.dll files are Dynamic link libaries that contains extensions and functions that can used by applications (*.exe).
Dll's contains machine code, which you should not modify.

i have my minetest_core game, pixelcraft, which uses those folders and i want to modify them.

You cannot modify them.

But you can download Visual Studio, download the source code of that libary, change that code, and compile it into a new .dll. You may also have to compile Minetest yourself, if you using a different version than the old libary.

But this requires a lot of programming experience. Do you have programming experience?

What makes you feel you need to "edit" a DLL?
There are valid reasons to do so, but as addi said, it's not easy for the casual user, and most probably that's not really needed.

So I'll repeat addi's question: What do you want to do?

Like i already said i have a game called pixelcraft and this is the only way to add stuff to the game(i think)
