Shift+click problem with bookshelf and vessels shelf

The inventory movement using shift key is awesome, but not working properly with bookshelves and vessels shelves.
Shift click doesn't do anything if another item is in the shelf (I can still drag and drop items). It only works, when the shelf is empty.
