For some time I have not been able to use any mods. It seems that the mods database server at mmdb/mods/ is broken.

When I start Minetest I get the following message:

21:26:19: ERROR[AsyncWorkerThread_0]: mmdb/mods/ not found (HTTP response code said error) (response code 404)
WARNING: not a single toplevel ui element active switching to default

My browser can also not access mmdb/mods/
Site reports 404 problem.

You're running an old version of minetest. The latest is 0.4.13. The mod database is no longer available in minetest, due to technical issues. It's unlikely to return in its current form.

You should install mods the normal way, by downloading them and placing them in the mods folder. Mmdb never really worked.
