Error , failed to load?

hi all , today i wanted to install Lord of the Test and Hungry Games mod on Linux Minetest today, but i encountered this error:

Your phone or window isn't wide enough to display the code box. If it's a phone, try rotating it to landscape mode.

Error: ModError: Failed to load and run
/usr/share/games/minetest/games/hungry games plus master/mods/default/init.lua

why is that? same thing goes for the Lord of the test sub game :c


UPDATE:

I am Running Elementary OS 0.3.2 (Freya)
and My Game Version is 0.4.9 (on linux)
The Games i (subgames ,wanted to play) are : Lord of the Test , Hungry Games Plus


Okay i originally was gonna Put em both here, but it reaches the 60000 Limit sooo

the path should be /usr/share/games/minetest/games/hungry_games_plus

You need to update to the latest version of Minetest. The build in most (if not all) Linux repos is very old.
These games are maintained regularly to work with the latest build, this is why they are not working

Minetest is at 0.4.14 currently
