Lighting bug!

by Spaghetti Developer » Sat Dec 24, 2016 11:42

I hoped it was resolved. When I build houses, generic structures, or under a stone block is the coal, the external blocks are darker than side. The light is affected according to the internal block ???

here are some screenshots just made, so everything is clear.

what blocks were you using?

stairs let light through and are illuminated by all nearby light while full blocks are only illuminated by light from above.

see here:

the floor is made of slabs and full blocks, taking advantage of their lighting properties to make this pattern =(^.^)=

I think 'sunlight_propagates = true' is the default if node registration doesn't specify it,
maybe that's what you are picking up on.

I get a lot of weird shading on nodes at night when using bright light sources.
alot of the times when you kill a bright light source it takes a while for the actual light to go away
its kinda weird.
