Hello, I played game (minetest_game this time) for about 10 hours and did not found any mese.

its a cheat but it works...

They would be generated, just like coal and iron.

umm in latest dev release i think mese was removed from the generator so the more ores mod's mythril pickaxe that lasts longer and destroys quicker than mese pickaxe is a really good substitute for mese it's self , it also adds a few more metal blocks eg :

~bronze

~gold

~silver

look on the forum for more info about the more ores mod.

The latest map generator (with 0.4_20120408) has no Mese, only coal and Iron.
BTW, the official name is now "Mese" and not "MESE" - see the tooltip.

they are not updated..they can be easily updated by using the mapgen code in /minetest/games/minetest/mods/default/mapgen.lua and using a modified iron generation code
