Minetest for linux

hello guys, sorry for my ignorance, but celeron55 Blog says that the download versions of minetest is for windows. I wonder if they are also compatible with linux ...

There is a ppa repository for ubuntu, if you don't want to compile from source.
Also, you can look here: http://minetest.net/download.php

If you're using Fedora make sure to to sync up with the rpmfusion repositories and you can install Minetest 0.3 by using:
su root
yum install minetest.ix86 (if you're on a desktop the x = 5, for laptop x = 6)

Or if you want to run 0.4 and are too lazy to compile it just use
su root
yum install wine
Then make sure you set .exe files to open with WinE by default and download the Windows version.
