FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

I downloaded the most recent windows version, and all the textures are mixed up. I'm on a different PC, this is an XP. Like the grass looks like cobble in my inventory after I dig it up.

If so i have not a clue why all you texture have been given the old switch around. All i can suggest its delete Minetest completely and Re-Download and see if it still occurs, if it does then make sure all your drivers are up-to-date (not that i can see it being a driver issue)

Yes I Downloaded the recommended one. I'm on XP if that matters? And I have automatic updates on and it does update so I assume they've been updated.

I'll try and delete them and get it new see if that works

Open up you Minetest.conf and change

video_driver = opengl

to

video_driver = direct3d9

if you dont see video_driver = just add it to bottom line in the file
