Corrupted map

I had a minetest server on in terminal and then accidentally started singleplayer at the same time.
Playing singleplayer at the same time seems to have regenerated parts of the map.
I think there should be a system that checks whether a map is in use.
Look what happened:

That used to be a castle :D

It's as if a thousand years has passed.
The lava moat is gone, minerals have spawned in the rock and some of the walls have disappeared!

Has anyone else experienced this before?

This happened before on ecube, but it just happened to chest, basically he would install the nature mod, and if you had a chest surrounded with dirt, your chest would get replaced with dirt, but it would still work as a chest.

Also is that green ore, Uranium? if you say yes that would make me very happy :)

I experienced something similar...

But I'm clueless as to what happened. That particular map, I've always player in single player; though I used to connect with another username before the singleplayer user was created.
