cant make it run, please help

by nomohakon » Fri Aug 10, 2012 16:54

Hello, i have big problem. My copy of minetest-c55 0.4.1 wont play the game itself. I have access to menu, to create new world, to set some things, but when i want to play, it creates something (game, server, client) and then it say "Some exception: illegal" and shows one button "proceed".

Im running windows xp sp3 and i have installed microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86. Im trying play singleplayer.

In ms-dos like window is this last line:
ERROR [main]: Some exception: "Illegal instruction"

Please help.

Minetest requires a SSE2-compliant CPU.
You can't do anything aginst it (or get a new CPU, but that's not really advisable).

Thank you. I have found solution to my problem, just reanimate some garbage computer (damaged notebook capable SSE2).
