FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

My problems that i require help,any would be appreciated.

1) Typing
--------

For some reason that I don't know,whenever I try to type;
a) letters wont come out.
b)they end up as spaces (takes up a slot for typing)



2) Saving
----------

My world,they will never save.No matter what i do.



----how i do things---;

I downloaded minetest,but there is'nt a icon on homepage.I open winrar to go to the bin and click on the game there.If i have a mistake please state it,thank you.

well, just unpack the zip-file. don't run it out of winrar.
