What do I do wrong when MTC55 connects to a server forever? I have a good internet connection. There should be a FAQ and this thing should be added.

What operating system are you using (Windows/Mac/Linux)? We need more info. :)

I use windows. I have a laptop with WLAN, but it is very fast and I already have played an internet game on it(Ace of Spades) and without any lags, so it isnt the problem. There are many players having the same thing. Just look at the comments for the servers on the server list.

Maybe it is because MT is using the hardware directly(what is usual in c++)?

When you mean connects forever, without starting the game (the black screen, telling connecting or with the '2 x-es')?

In my experience this could be:
- a bad internet connection (slow provider for the server and/or client or long geographical distance)
- incompatible minetest versions
- trying to connect with a remobo/hamachi (didn't check the spelling) server
- server that is (temporarily) down (see xyz server list)

I tried another server and it worked! The servers I tried to connect with first were hamachi/remobo(or whatever). Does it mean that no one can connect to them?

This has to be in the FAQ if it will be made.
