Everytime I log in the pictures don't match and I thought that if I changed the textures then they'd match up but they aren't. They don't appear the same when seen in the hot bar. But when I roll over and put them down they are as they're supposed to be. Help? Please.

There is a difference between icon images and textures

The icon images are the ones in the hot bar

The textures are the images that wrap the object when you put it down.

They do not have to be the same


Or do you mean the icon in the bar is eg some wood, and when you place it, it is eg a cobblestone?

I had the same problem on a pc from a friend with the same graphics chipset express family and XP

I found no solution ...
but fix the problem ... I installed Linux ...
