FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

Well, what happened basically was this. I was on my private world working on my next build, when I hit K to fly. The console told me I didn't have the fly or fast privs, so I did /grant me all. I tried again. Nothing. I checked my minetest.conf file, and both fast and fly were set to true. So why isn't this working? It worked before. Is there something fundamental I'm missing?

try /grant singleplayer all

Did that too. I had fast and fly, but whenever I pushed the k and j keys, nothing happened.

Check in the menu settings and then the 'change keys' or maybe you've a capslock, scroll lock or whatever button pressed by accident?

'/grant singleplayer all' never worked for me, either even though I've never played multiplayer to this day. (Might sometime in the future, I'm just more of a singleplayer guy.)
'/grant Qaddosh all' does work, though.
Try '/grant <username> all'.
