FOSS gamedev and creative worlds

I just installed Wazubaba's texture pack when i used the gridtoon texture pack everything was fine but now this has started happening

Why is this happening? i had the gates mod installed & the wool was a different colour it was brown & red so i deleted the gates mod cos i thought it was the problem but then the wool turned blue & red. Anyway to fix this?

It isn't a function of your texture pack or mods, as such - the game's texture atlas bugs out when there's too much content for it to hold. Edit your minetest.conf and add this line to disable it:

enable_texture_atlas = false
