I downloaded Minetest 0.4.3 today and when I load it it has a black screen.
I would like to play the updates, does the black screen have something to do with my playing on Ubuntu?
Please help!

Try updating your video drivers; you may try the proprietary driver too, sometimes the open source one just doesn't work.
